International PhD Hispanic College Scholarship

The Hispanic College Scholarship is tenable for up to 3 years for a PhD (via MPhil route) [subject to satisfactory progress] and is open to international applicants only. UK/EU applicants are not eligible to apply. The scholarship will provide £15000 towards the cost of the International tuition fee over 3 years.
A variety of adsorbents such as carbon, hydrogels, clays, silca gels etc employed for the removal of radionuclides from aqueous solutions have been reported; but each has inherent limitations. The Hispanic College Scholarship discovery of mesoporous materials with large surface area and wide uniform pores has provided a new dimension for the removal/recovery of radionuclides.
This Hispanic College Scholarship project aims to develop new mesoporous silicates that have selectively for certain radionuclides or families of radionuclides. This will be achieved by engineering specific sites within the silicate structure during the preparative stage that can accommodate specific radionuclides whilst excluding others. This Hispanic College Scholarship exclusion may be based on size and/or interactions with functional groups inserted into the lattice structure

ESRC +3 PhD Studentship Hispanic College Scholarships

Hispanic College Scholarships the thesis will examine the extent to which an account of perception and body movements can explain the performance in visual-spatial. Recent research has shown that there are a number of operating properties, which appear similar to those in the relevant field report. For example, short-term serial recall seems a number of places of the room through a rehearsal process that the appointment of the planning sequence of eye movements (Tremblay, Saint-Aubin and Jalbert, are supported in 2006) and others is that the performance by the Complexity of the oculomotor necessary, a number of websites (again limited Guerard, Tremblay and St-Aubin, 2009). As such, Hispanic College Scholarships there is a prima facie case for investigating retention of visuo-spatial information as being based on an embodied motor-planning mechanism. Similarly, there is evidence to suggest that processes of perceptual organisation in the visuo-spatial domain impact on the readiness with which different patterns of eye movements are made within a scene (Theeuwes, Mathôt & Kingstone, 2010). This Hispanic College Scholarships again raises the possibility that perceptual-motor mapping processes analogous to those found in the verbal and auditory-verbal domain may also play a key role in constraining visuo-spatial short-term memory performance.
